Having trouble with the AMS Community site? Follow these steps to get started.

AMS members may log into the Community site from the main AMS site. To do this, first visit amsmusicology.org and click on “Log In” at the top of the screen.

AMS home page

Log in to the AMS website with the email associated with your membership. You will be prompted to enter a one-time code, which will be sent to your email address.

If the passcode does not work, ensure you are typing the characters rather than copying and pasting, as this can inadvertently paste extra code.

In order to join a group that has dues, you must be an active AMS member and a dues-paying member of the relevant group. Renew your chapter or study group memberships here.

If your memberships are up to date, request to join a group by clicking the “Request Access” button. Membership is typically granted within two (2) business days.
