The AMS name and logo may not be used in any publicity or
advertising, or in any way that expresses or implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with any entity, product, or service, without the written permission of the American Musicological Society, Inc.
Privacy
The AMS uses personally identifiable information gathered on
the public amsmusicology.org website to permit it to contact interested parties
regarding its activities, services, and products; to permit members to contact
each other directly; and to process requests and order forms.
The AMS website may be used to donate to the AMS, order products and services, pay dues, and reserve and pay for programs. The AMS may also provide the opportunity for members to join forums, discussion groups, electronic mailing lists, or similar online activity. Such communications allow the recipient to unsubscribe.
Personal information collected on the AMS website may be shared with a third party for operational purposes, such as a travel agency that helps process the hotel reservations for the AMS annual meeting. AMS may also selectively rent mailing lists of members, subscribers, or convention registrants to appropriate third parties, such as book publishers.
